1. Mayhem, circa 1988-1990, before Dead commited suicide. The man was a black metal mastermind.
2. Queen. Freddie Mercury revolutionized rock music and the opera-rock sound. They have influenced many rock bands out there today.
3. Marilyn Manson. Whether or not the guy has sold out to mainstream (which he has), he is infamous and a very solid showman, not to mention a very intelligent man to boot.
4. Primus. Les Claypool is the demon/god/utter epitome of bass guitar playing.
5. Rush. There’s something about a Canadian progressive rock band with a lead singer that switches between bass guitar and keyboards. Plus, Neil Peart is an amazing drummer.
6. U2. The music is amazing, plus it has a message. The members of U2 are great humanitarians, I would enjoy meeting them some day.
7. Blind Melon. I just want to know what the f*** that guy was thinking.
8. Pantera. Dimebag Darrell, rest in peace.
9. Metallica, before Cliff Burton died. Their prime era.
10. Jethro Tull. The man. The legend. The flute. Enough said.
11. Johnny Cash. The original rebel. I would have loved to have been at Folsom Prison to witness that show.
12. Cannibal Corpse. The most infamous death metal band in America, though also the most widely known.
13. Cradle of Filth. I respect any man that has an amazing growl, and can automatically shriek like a banshee. It’s brutal.
14. Ted Nugent. I want to see the 1970s Nuge, before he became a blabbering conservative idiot.
15. The Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Come on. Check them out and tell me they wouldn’t be amazing live.

Fifteen? Awesome! I’m old-school so I have a lot of classic artists:
1. Beatles – My #1 favorite band of all time. They changed the way the world rocked. I know all of their songs ~ I have 45′s, 78′s, cassette tapes, 8-tracks and now cd’s.
2. Bruce Springsteen – My 2nd favorite! I am a lifelong New Jersey resident and this guy sings about life and growing up in jersey, mentions places I know, but anyone could relate to what he’s saying. I’ve seen him in concert 6 times and hope he tours again with the E Street Band! They give their all when they perform, they play from the heart and keep going for 4 hours!
3. Paul McCartney – yeah, i know he’s a Beatle, but the only one I have been fortunate to see perform – twice! He is a legend, I love his music, his voice and he is my favorite Beatle!
4. Tom Petty – He sings about life, and how much it can suck sometimes. I love his guitar style and his songs and his concerts are always rocking.
5. U2 – they are just great! Plus, I’m part Irish, so gotta love them! They rock!
6. AC/DC – they rock! One of the best live bands i have ever seen!
7. Aerosmith – another rocking band and great live! I lost my voice screaming to “Back in the Saddle” at a concert, but it was worth it.
8. Ozzy – He is a rocker, and probably disturbed, but he has an awesome voice and also great live! I listened to him almost as much as Bruce, actually wore out the tape!
9. Rolling Stones – They are legends and they are fun to see live! You never know what they are going to do!
10. Sheryl Crow – I love her voice and her songs, and a pretty good guitar player. She is awesome!
11. Roy Orbison – don’t laugh! He has a beautiful voice, I love to listen to him.
12. Traveling Wilburys – love their songs and it’s such a neat band ~ Tom Petty, George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison and Jeff Lynne.

These are all amazing bands, that I absolutely love! Some were some of the best punk rock bands that ever lived, and others-just really amazing. I wish I could see them all at one concert, but their are SOOO many reasons why I can’t, starting with Syd Vicious (Sex Pistols bassist) O.D. And this makes me really sad, because I know it will never happen.
