I had read two best books on the Goths.. from
History of the Goths by Herwig Wolfram and Thomas J. Dunlap (ISBN-10: 0520069838) and A History of the Ostrogoths by Thomas S. Burns (ISBN-10: 0520069838)
Plus they had one good historian who wrote contemporary events of the Goths, Jordanes
