Cross Keys is nice but expensive. The area directly around Pimlico is pretty dicey. I would extend your search area out to Towson, Pikesville, and downtown.
    Orbitz has this one:
Radisson Plaza Lord Baltimore 4 star rating
20 WEST BALTIMORE STREET, BALTIMORE, MD
It would put you in walking distance to all the downtown attractions like Harborplace.
But you might want to look for a place with a pool. It is going to be hot and sticky. August always is.

The Radisson Cross Keys is the closest hotel to the venue at Pimlico.

if you live any where near baltimore i’d advise you to not get a hotel cause the festival tickets are expensive as is, but if not, there a plenty of hotels listed on the website (virginfestival.com) in the info section, go with one of the budget hotels
