My Boyfriend really loves going to Shambhala every year.. I didnt go last year with him… but i think i want to go this year with him.
BUT the thing is… is that I dont do any hard drugs ever.. and your not aloud to drink at this festival. My boyfriend however enjoys that kind of stuff…
I want to go.. just to spend time with him.. and have a good time (because he always talks about how awesome it is)
Should I go.. even though I wont be enjoying it the same way as my boyfriend will….? I dont want him to think I am raining down on his parade either…

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009A local vendor is soon to face city council as he was cited for violating the city noise ordinance. He tried using a bicycle bell for a while, but it doesn’t have the same effect. Bar music, outdoor music festivals, jackhammers, factory whistles, train whistles, and emergency sirens are all louder than the ice cream truck. The neighborhood kids love the ice cream truck music and get all excited when they hear it. We had an ice cream truck in our neighborhood when I was a child and so did my parents. It just seems like taking a law out of context. Loud music should be banned for personal vehicles, residences and private property, not businesses in my opinion.

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009I want to go to this music festival this year called The Big Chill but i’m only 16, and it says: “There is no minimum age but under 18’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult over 21 – No more than 4 under 18’s per supervising adult.”
I would be able to get one of my friends or my brother to walk in with me when we exchange our tickets for wrist bands, but what exactly do they mean by “accompanied” ? i dont want to be chaperoned for three days of madness :S Could i get away with just walking in with them and then leaving them?

Poll: Should I Stop Drinking Alcohol For My Acne At A Music Festival?
Sunday, October 25th, 2009Im starting some Strong acne meds (roaccutane) a day before i got ot a music festival. Naturally, music festivals consist of smoking large amounts of pot and getting wasted – awesome huh?
The only thing is, the pills im on affect the liver and if i drink aswell it could really cause some damage, but i really want my acne sorted out and wanted to start them right away.
The thing is, do you think i should wait until i come back from the festival and THEN start my antibiotics, or should i take them before the festival and carry them on whilst at the festival but refraining from drinking (which will be hard and ultimately spoil it for me)?
Its so frustrating cos i really want to sort out my acne ASAP but i don’t want to ruin the festival!
