    3:11 Nobody likes him. He’s the pariah of the streets. Poor guy.

    @shelski72 You are so right man, i found myself in the same situation and I am told i am very intelligent, I study medical books all the time, just because someone is homeless or down on their luck doesn’t make them bad or stupid, or mean that they are drug addicts(i hate drugs by the way) people in this country are so obsessed with their own selves most look the other way and could care less, mosty the upper middle class, snobs!!

  • richkid89 says:

    @DavieWestmacott I agree man!!

  • shelski72 says:

    con’t – the human condition that given the right circumstances, could ultimately have found you there. YEAH YOU!

  • shelski72 says:

    Iin the field I’m in, the intuitiveness and intelligence of the homeless and severely drug addicted individuals amazes me. They are human and have the potential to offer something to society but are sick. As a society we don’t condemn those with cancer or other biologically corrosive diseases. There are reasons people – ever been sexually assaulted or fondled by your father, gang raped, beat down by those who are supposed to care for you? we all suffer the human condition.

    the rats just want to be your friend! watch your language! this is what happens when we ignore the fact that homelessness is a systemic problem… all of the unpleasant surprises you identify are the result of a long process of willful ignorance (not just in BC either!).

    i really appreciate this doc and it’s well presented but the main character looks to healthy/pretty to be homeless, even when he rubbed dirt on himself he has the beautiful curly locks of hair that looks well maintained , he just doesn’t look scruffy enough to be taken as a homeless person, that’s my only qualm , the video is awesome

  • xshootmedownx says:

    give it up bro

  • oxycodonez says:

    hahahah @ you getting sick, you deserve it, prick

  • Nitroxide says:

    Actually yes, it is survival of the fittest. Some crackhead broke down my apartment door and stole my laptop. I found him trying to sell it on east hastings.

  • ricflairflair says:

    I agree completely, emmasaurus. I hope that that portion of the documentary was staged. If not, this guy deserves a beatdown.

  • EruditeSoul says:

    There are serious rat infestations in Vancouver because its so warm here. Fantastic for spreading infection among the more vulnerable to exposure.

  • gnomit says:

    @emmasaurus
    did you watch the whole thing? At the end his viewpoint changes and he says its more complicated… but liberal approaches to the problem obviously aren’t working are they? Its only gotten worse over the years. Eventually you have to say enough is enough.

  • emmasaurus says:

    It’s not survival of the fittest. He is pretending to have nothing! At the end of the documentary you see that he actually has a very nice apartment that is likely sitting empty while he took that “homeless guy’s shit”. Is it survival of the fittest when someone breaks into your home and steals your shit? A real person came back to find their bedding (in December) was gone because a spoiled rich kid wanted to continue making a little film project. It actually makes me sick.

  • umalim says:

    only ER cuz u need home address to have GP !!

  • tymoney321 says:

    @emmasaurus Survival of the Fittest. Dog eat Dog…this is what man devolves into when you have nothing, no processions, just a desire to live…

  • tymoney321 says:

    @jaketravis Another homeless who didnt want to appear on camera…

  • mariaisabelvermelho says:

    or your fan

  • mariaisabelvermelho says:

  • mariaisabelvermelho says:

    sorry that seem really painfull

  • charmeyn2 says:

    the truth is, this happens; homeless do take from other homeless, it’s called “Survival”

  • lavixl says:

    @emmasaurus truth hurts

  • jaketravis says:

    Who is with you doing a lot of this filming? another homeless person? a friend? what’s their deal?
