I normally despise metal, mainly for it’s linear nature. But I don’t think I’ve ever been so captivated by a band since I first heard The Mars Volta. Meshuggah is something other worldly, on a whole other level. I must see them live.
@whenMomorulzhisworld Wrong. Go listen to Death’s The Sound of Perseverance released in 1998 and tell me that Destroy Erase Improve is the most technical album
Anyone else think that the breakdown at 3:33 is possibly the heaviest single bit of music ever recorded? Imagine this song re-recorded with the 8-stringers! That moment was probably the best concert moment of my life. 13th October, 2008 – Meshuggah in Sydney, Fuck yes!
Meshuggah should hire lots of lawyers cus they just blew my head off and Im suing
@WookiePUBE
I love metal, but agree with you about its often linear nature in most genres.
