28th of June – 1st of July: Rockwerchter in Belgium
- Bjork, Faithless, Metallica, Muse, QOTSA, Pearl Jam, Snow Patrol, Tori Amos etc.
*Personally not very familiar with this festival, but the line-up kicks some serious butt.
17th – 19th of August: Lowlands in The Netherlands
- Line-up tba. Rumours (99% for most of them): Pearl Jam, Radiohead, NIN, Groove Armada, Sonic Youth, Silverchair, Manic Street Preachers etc.
*Usually a very nice line-up and an overall great festival (not just bands, also movies, theater and whatever other insane stuff they come up with)
8th – 15th of August: Sziget in Hungary
- Line-up tba. A few have already been confirmed though: NIN, Chemical Brothers, Pink, Sinead O’Connor, Tool, The Killers, The Hives, Mika etc.
* Never been there but from what I’ve heard it’s absolutely brilliant. (well hey, it’s a full week! ).
