kiss are old and well past it. lost prophets are a good band but not exactly metal and offspring…….boring. last years line up was excellent with iron maiden headlining but mainly good because of the so called support acts KSE, stonesour, machinehead, korn(on the second stage?? what a ******* joke) slayer, megadeth etc think ill wait and see who else gets added before spending the best part of 160 quid on a ticket and parking. I think the authorities have sussed that its actually a very well attended festival with very little trouble, arrests or like glasto, drug related deaths. there was a lot of complaint last year that it never received any kind of TV coverage or radio time as did glasto and reading/leeds so maybe naming these acts is an attempt to get more of that and hence more money. i just hope the organisers dont forget this is a metal festival not a cheesy radio friendly punk and emo festival.

Holy crap,
i went in 2006 and the line up was godlike,
Tool, metallica, alice in chains, korn, avenged sevenfold.
i mean that lineup as freaking amazing, i remember the riots on the last day, and not a lot else.. lol..
but seriously, i was disappointed with last years lineup for a start, my chemical romance headlining, i mean WTF who the hell actually organizes this bullshit now the craps gettng ruined, Lost prophets are like pop-rock, the offspring are punk, and personaly i just dislike kiss.
well…. I really wanted to headliners to be good this year i really really wanted to go and have a great time. man the other acts better be good, that’s all i can say.
i feel your pain. seriously. thanks for point out that theyre announced to me, i actually really wanted to know this lol, lucky i read this question.

You want a true metal festival, look up Wacken. Because if Korn and Avenged Sevenfold have played it there’s nothing metal about it.

i heard of an even worse joke. i heard that there was a rock festival, and guess who they chose the headliner as? no…not that band…Jay-Z…common wtf? its a rock festival.
i wouldn’t say the offspring aren’t that commericial. commercial would be something like mcr, fall out boy, cobra star ship, the acadamy is, you know, the really sh*tty pop bands.

It’s a little disappoijnting this year. I was expecting a decent batch after the joke of MCR last year but it’s a shame. really is. WHy can’t Judas Priest take Lostprophets place?
